A Suction diffuser can be used in different industries. For example, suction diffusers are used in the process industry, metals and mining, power industry, water and waste, chemical industry, pulp and paper, oil and gas. Dannenbaum LLC can provide a suction diffusers for commercial or industrial uses. Also suction diffusers are installed on the inlet of a pump to assist in attaining a smooth in-let flow, and remove objects from damaging the pump. Moreover, suction diffusers provide ideal flow conditions for the pump. Thus suctions diffusers reduce the amount of pipe that would be needed to achieve a steady flow. Pump Suction Diffuser
Additionally pump suction diffusers shall be attached to the side of the Pump, as well as made to code. In addition to, the pump suction diffuser has a strainer to stop bad material from entering the pump. Furthermore, pump suction diffusers give the right state of flow conditions to the pipe. Also extra features for a suction diffuser include a throwaway stainless steel start-up screen for capture and removal of strange items in the piping system and an movable support for mounting.
Strainers and Suction diffusers are similar. Suction diffusers are a specialized type of strainer used for direct attachment to certain pumping-equipment inlets where compact and accessible pipeline straining is desired.
Strainer Suction Diffuser mount directly to the suction side of the pump in either a horizontal or vertical position. They can be manufactured in accordance with ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3 and/or ASME Section VIII, Div. I and are available with Raised Face, Flat Face or Buttwelded connections.
Both the Suction Diffusers and strainers are used to remove particles and debris from the flow. The strainers have screens that reduce the risk of damage to equipment such as pumps, and compressors.
Commercial and Industrial Suction Diffusers can be made as a casting, or can be custom fabricated.
We can supply any material needed. Mostly used is a carbon steel or stainless steel.
