The rubber joint is a flexible connecting piece made of natural and synthetic elastomer and fabric. It can be reinforced with internal metal to reduce the piping system’s thermal movement and mechanical vibration. Depending on the application, rubber joints can use a variety of materials.

Compared with metal joints, rubber joints also have advantages and disadvantages: rubber joints can absorb large movements in a short distance.
